En inglés. English. 'More than anything in the world he wanted to make pictures.it seemed to him infinitely romantic.', wrote F. Scott Fitzgerald in an early draft of Tender is the Night. When Scott arrived in Hollywood in 1927 with his wife Zelda, he saw the chance to weave into reality his life-dream of a happiness made of love, money, and drama. The glittering movie town at first fed the dreamby giving the Fitzgeralds a royal reception and the author a 'feeling of new worlds to conquer'. But when Hollywood turned golden, Fitzgerald's chance to conquer it got lost somewhere in the vast obscurity of the big studio machine. Scott made two more trips to Hollywood before he died there in 1940, at the age of 44.
